Darkstorm - The Oath of Fire album '17

Darkstorm is a Polish Black Metal band formed in Warsaw in 1993. This is their latest full-length album, it is released as a CD limited to 500 copies by Putrid Cult.

The style is Black/Heavy Metal, the album contains 11 songs and lasts for a bit over 40 minutes. The sound is good and clean, the music is interesting with each song having it's head and tail, but still it's nothing unheard before.
The atmosphere is old school proto-black or, in other words, speedy and thrashy, which is something I always enjoy. Especially if it reminds me of Bathory, and this actually does.

Some of you may enjoy this, some may not - I hope all of you will still appreciate me sharing the rip of this personal purchase.

Mystik - Skalder Från Urskogens Dunkla Mystik album '18

Mystik is a Swedish one man band from the owner of Ancient Records/Mysticism Productions, who is also known for being behind (or a part of) other bands and projects such as GravHelgedomAzelisassath and Bekëth Nexëhmü (just to name a few).

Mystik's first release was created in 2010, it contained two long songs and it was very limited and impossible to find to buy or digitized (at least for us humans with limited powers). The material this very limited tape contained has finally been reworked, remastered and officially released this year as a CD album by Purity Through Fire label.

I, of course, grabbed myself a copy, not even doubting about the quality of music on it so - this is what I'm sharing with you today - personal CD rip in high quality with scans.

I've listened to the album and enjoyed it very, very much and will continue enjoying this art in the future. In the sea of currently active bands, Mystik is one of the true black arts that bring the breath of fresh air.
The album has very special energy and atmosphere which I consider would be a fail effort to try to put into words (at least if you're someone like me who is a writer, but not a poet). Music speaks for itself, and I won't spoil it in any way. All I can say is - enjoy this art. And there are copies still available, grab yourself one.
